WorkAbility I & We Can Work

This program is for students in special education that are in High School or Adult Transition Program. 

What is WorkAbility I?

  • WAI is a grant funded by the California Department of Education.
  • Provides comprehensive pre-employment skills training, employment placement and follow-up for high school and adult transition students in special education. 
  • Program services are appropriate to individual student needs, abilities and interests.
  • Post-Secondary exploration & planning.
 

What is We Can Work?

  • WCW is a grant funded by the Department of Rehabilitation
  • Work-based learning experience
  • Students with disabilities
  • Students enrolled in High School Ages 16-21 
  • Short-term/Temporary placement
  • On/Off Campus
  • Paid/Unpaid internships/employment
  • Summer Opportunities
